The problem is do you hang on for a top price and wait for the best bookmaker to open or do you take the best price on offer at the time ? By which time everybody else has cut their price and if you cannot place all your bet the balance has to be placed at much smaller odds.

Stan James frequently offer the best prices as recommended by Pricewise. They usually open at 8.00am sharp not long after Ladbrokes and Bet365 but earlier than the rest which are normally 8.30am to 09.00am.

If the liability is massive they will probably ration the bet but at least you will get top price on some of your bet. You can then hunt for the best for the rest.

If your account balance is at zero they will only take the amount for bet after you have confirmed the bet. No wasted deposits. You can also immediately place another bet without a two minute delay to re-use your card  which with some other bookmakers you could then find the price had been cut. It is normally a fast, very simple, user friendly operation.
